For the second time in 5 weeks the death angel has entered one of the homes in our village, both times claiming young people in the prime of manhood and womanhood. On
Monday, Nov. 11, 1918 about midnight occurred the death of Mrs. Anna Bruesso, wife of Henry Bruesso of this village. The cause of her death was influenza and pneumonia.
Anna Blatterman was born at Morrisonville, WI on Feb. 23, 1890. She was the daughter of Mrs. Louisa Blatterman, her father dying May 5, 1916. On March 12, 1908 she was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Bruesso of this village. With the exception of a few months spent on a farm, her life has been spent in this community, where her cheerful disposition and kindly ways has won her many friends.
Besides these she leave to mourn her early demise, her husband, Henry Bruesso; her mother, Mrs. Blatterman; four brothers; and two sisters. They are Henry, William,
Richard, Carl, and Delia Blatterman, all of Sun Prairie and Mrs. Ida Krueger, who resides on a farm in the township. The youngest son, Ervin, was called by death in a camp in Ohio less than 6 weeks ago. They also received word of the death of a niece in Minnesota making two deaths in the uncle's home in the same short time.
The funeral of Mrs. Bruesso was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. The pastor
of her church, Rev. Thurow officiated and interment was made in the village cemetery.
