Holly Diane White, – Mar. 3rd, 2021, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She is survived by her brother Cabot White (Stacy White) nieces Keegan and Tierney White of Kansas City, Stepfather Earl White of Georgetown, TX. Stepbrother Michael Sowry (Molly Sowry) niece Emma and nephew Aidan Sowry.
Holly was proceeded in death, by her Mother Diane White and youngest brother August White.
Holly was born Dec.25th, 1959 in Denver CO., but spent her youth in Kansas City. She spent most of her adult life in Dallas, TX.
Holly graduated High School from San Marcos Academy, San Marcos, TX. where she achieved many accolades, Holly was inducted into the National Honor Society, named Top Twelve, elected senior personality and varsity cheerleader as well as being elected soccer team sweetheart. Holly received the prestigious Second Mile award from faculty members.
Following graduation Holly achieved an associate degree in Liberal Arts from Richland College, then continued her education at the University of Texas. While continuing her education she worked as an accountant for a number of legal firms.
From the time Holly graduated from San Marcos she was vigilant about keeping in touch with faculty and fellow students. Holly was an annual member of the San Marcos Academy Alumni Association and served as class coordinator for several years.
Holly held dearly, the love for her Kansas City sports primarily the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. She was also a fierce defender of all animals, especially her feline friends.
At the time of her passing Holly resided in Dallas, TX.
