GRAGG. In Hanford, April 29, 1900, A[bel] W[ood] Gragg, a native of Ohio, aged 74 years. The deceased had been ill in bed but a week prior to his death, which occurred Sunday at 1 P. M. He was a carpenter by trade. He came to this city about two years ago from Tulare and since that time for some time worked at his trade. Recently he and his wife have been conducting a restaurant near the Santa Fe depot. He leaves a wife, and a sister who resides in Chicago, and a large number of friends to mourn his loss. If Mr. Gragg had lived until next August, he and his wife would have celebrated their golden wedding. The funeral took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock, under the auspices of the Hanford Lodge of Odd Fellows, and the remains were interred in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. He was a member in good standing of Alvarado Lodge, I. O. O. F., this State, for forty-five years.

Gravesite Details

Hanford Cemetery record do not include him (2024). I don't find an Odd Fellow's (IOOF) cemetery in Hanford, so I'm assuming it is part of what is now Hanford Cemetery and have included him here for now.
