Cindy Pickard, 45, of Clinton, formerly of New Goshen passed away Saturday Jan. 6, 2007, in her residence after a battle with cancer. She had been employed with Pizza City in Terre Haute for 18 years. She was born Oct. 19, 1961, at Clinton to Marvin Strole and Rosilyn McCloud Strole.
Survivors include her husband, James Pickard, whom she married May 19, 1984, at New Goshen; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Alan Barbour of Clinton, Vicki and Randy Cutliff of Sullivan, and Elizabeth and Butch McClain of West Terre Haute; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Pam Strole of Fort Sheridan, Ill., Donald and Janet Strole of West Terre Haute, and Jeffrey and Tammy Strole of New Goshen; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Wilma Pickard of New Goshen; a brother-in-law, Michael Pickard of New Goshen; 14 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother on Oct. 20, 2001; and by her father on June 23, 2003.
