Lois F. Durham, 84, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Rockhill, SC, daughter of the late Albert "Skin" and Mary "Mo" (Erby) Ervin, a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Rock Hill, SC and in her leisure, enjoyed watching religious programs and spending time with her grandchildren, especially her grandson, James Knox III.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her only child, Mary Frances Knox and leaves to celebrate her life, her grandchildren, James Knox, Jr. of Harrisburg, Yvette Knox-Brown and Kandie Knox; her loving devoted, son-in-law, James Knox, Jr., all of Maryland; her six great-grands, Sarita Munoz, James Knox III, Ashley Knox, Brandon Oswald, Chakira Knox and Cashius Washington; her five great-great grands; her brother, Tom of Rockhill, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her life will be celebrated on Friday, August 26th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing 10 until 11 a.m. and burial in William Howard Cemetery.
