Mr. Roger Quillian Morgan, age 68 of Pen Drive, Ellijay, passed away peacefully on Friday March 5, 2021 in the Assured Hospice Care facility following an extended illness. Roger was born on November 20, 1952 in Cartersville, GA., son of the late Perry Moses Morgan & Leon Nancy Maddox. Roger was an avid hunter & fisherman; he loved the great outdoors and embraced it. He also loved animals. Roger was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons; Matt Morgan of Blue Ridge, Roger N. Morgan of Ellijay, Jason Morgan of McCaysville, one daughter & son-in-law; Julie & Tony Fowler of Ellijay, two sisters; Elsie Dickerson of Spring Hill, FL., Christine Dupree of Spring Hill, FL., and five grandchildren; Brianna, Logan, Skylar, Mason, Robert.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help defray expenses.
