NORTH JACKSON — Raymond H. Wilson Sr., 77, passed away peacefully into eternal rest, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Park Center Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Youngstown.

He was born March 9, 1943, in Youngstown, the son of late Walter C. Wilson and Thelma E. Raymond Wilson.

Raymond married the love of his life, Teresa G. Bright, Dec. 28, 1985, and they enjoyed 35 years of marriage together. He lived in North Jackson for more than 31 years, and previously in Newton Falls.

He worked as a steelworker for Amweld Building Products in Niles for more than 39 years, before retiring in 2008. He also worked as a service agent for State Chevrolet in Youngstown for three years.

Raymond was a member the Knights of Pythias in North Jackson. He attended the West Austintown United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors, tinkering around in the garage working on stuff, and just being an overall handyman.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Lou Bradley; and two brothers, Walter W. Wilson and Richard E. Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa G. Wilson of North Jackson; four daughters, Laura Wilson of Salem, Tawnya and Chris Miller of Canfield, Michele and Eric Johns of Deerfield, and Leslie and Ken Lude of Salem; three sons, Raymond “Buddy” Wilson Jr. of Austintown, Michael and Denise Bright of Bristolville, and Donnie and Mary Ford of Boardman; one sister, Bonnie Wilson of Hermitage, Pa.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
