Inspiring much love and laughter throughout his life, Wes is survived by his daughters Janet Haefele and Alice (Sean) Raftery, 12 loving grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He joins his parents, Alice and Ruben Davenport, sisters Louise Stoltz and Jane Hennick, and his sons Robert Martin and Michael Martin in Heaven.
A friend to everyone, Wes enjoyed telling stories, fishing, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals with his friends and family. He is remembered for his quirky sense of humor, curiosity, gentle spirit, and enduring sense of duty.
