Margie Brown was born on Thursday, September 20, 1945 in Many, LA. She passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, LA.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Brown; parents, Lev and Exie McInnis; and granddaddy, Allen Butler.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Roy Lee Brown of Florien, LA; daughters: Kimberly McCollough (Terry) of Florien, LA, Kristie Brown of Shreveport, LA and Kayla Hopkins (Lewis) of Florien, LA; grandchildren: Jessica Gaspard (Daniel), Nancy Baker (Dustin), Cody Hopkins (fiancé Madison Roberts), Kyle Hopkins, Marissa Brewer (Brad) and Chase Hopkins; two great grandchildren to arrive this summer; sister and loyal friend, Opal Streetman of Shreveport, LA; and a host of faithful prayer warriors.
