Jane (Perret) Anderson entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2021. She was born in Torrington Connecticut and lived there during her early years. After graduating from school, she worked as a bank teller at several banks including Connecticut National Bank. She loved her work because it involved meeting the public and helping others. She met and married the love of her life C. Vernon Anderson and later moved to Terryville Connecticut which became her home. Jane was a beloved member of her community and her neighborhood as you could often find most of the neighborhood children playing in her yard. She loved being outdoors, tending to her two beloved Afghan dogs, and watching western movies in her spare time. Jane also was a proud brain tumor survivor. She was predeceased by her husband Vernon in 1997.

Jane leaves a nephew and two nieces in California, and her beloved best friends Ann and Andrew Suszynski of Terryville Connecticut. Jane also leaves her longtime friend, attorney and supporter Rachel K. Shipman of Farmington Connecticut. Her family and friends would like to thank the staff at Amberwoods of Farmington for the kind and compassionate care that Jane received at the end of her life. She was loved by all who met her for her constantly positive attitude. Even in the hardest of times, Jane always had a smile on her face.

A private graveside will be held at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, CT. Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St., Terryville is assisting the family with arrangements.
