Barbara Sparks, 81, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Monday, March 1st, at Wolcott Hall. She was the wife of the late Stanley Sparks.

Barbara was born in Torrington, CT on August 26, 1939, a daughter of the late Esther (Hadsell) and Ignacs Sekulski.

She had been employed by several commercial sewing companies in the Torrington area, and was a member of the Harwinton West Side Volunteer Fire Dept. Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Sparks of Harwinton, and Joann Cordano of Torrington and son Timothy Sparks and wife Lori of Torrington, grandchildren Rachel and Megan Sparks and Austin and Nicole Cordano. She also leaves a sister Helena Langenheim of Torrington and brothers William Sekulski of Litchfield and David Sekulski of AL, and was predeceased by a sister Alice Tucker.
Private Services are at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Foundation.
