Ruby Lee Alice Kilgore Rogers passed away on February 25, 2021 in Corsicana. Burial will be at Dresden Cemetery.

Ruby was born on April 9, 1934, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to the late Sam Kilgore Rogers and Allie Ruth Richardson Rogers. She attended and graduated from Amber, Oklahoma.

Ruby married Will Stanley Rogers on May 15, 1952, and they were married for 49 years before his passing. Ruby and Stanley had two children, Rebecca Ruth Rogers Harvey and Danny Chris Rogers.

Ruby and Stanley owned several Tire Stores in the Grand Prairie and Arlington area. After 25 years they retired to Emmet, Texas, and started a Texas Longhorn Ranch called Rogers 3R.

She was very active in the Texas Longhorn Association and the Cattle Barons Ball in Dallas for many years. Ruby, daughter, Becky, and son, Danny also appeared on the Mr. Peppermint show with their famous Longhorn Bull “Premier.” Ruby was full of life and loved to entertain.

She is survived by her son, Danny Chris and his wife, Mendonna, of Corsicana; grandchildren: Russell Rogers and his wife, Tracie, of Cleburne, Jamie Hamon, of Corsicana, Ryan Rogers and Audra Rogers, of Corsicana, Elizabeth Harvey, of Austin, and Jacqueline Abernathy and her husband, Jacob, of Mesquite; great-grandchildren: Reed Stanley Rogers, Will Ryan Rogers, Madison Newton, Margret, Owen, and Karen Abernathy; son-in-law, Charles Harvey; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends as well as a special love for her Aunt Dorothy Jolly.
