Cecil Gaither Miller, 89, passed away on February 26, 2021, in Corsicana, Texas. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.

Cecil was born on December 4, 1931, in Corsicana, Texas, to the late Gay and Nina Ella Cardwell Miller. He was Plant Coordinator at Chattanooga Glass in Corsicana for 24 years until his retirement. Cecil focused on many ventures after his retirement, from raising cattle to managing his oil wells to sitting atop his tractor, he loved to stay busy. Cecil loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who referred to him as Pop.

Cecil was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church in Corsicana for over 60 years where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday School.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Maude Christine Miller.

Cecil is survived by his sons, Gary Miller and his wife, Ginger, and Kim Miller; grandchildren: Christopher Miller, Brandy Harrison, Timothy Miller, Tracy Petty, Allison Gillentine, and Cole Miller; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Joyce Rash; and cousin, Betty Barnes.
