She married William Horton Morrison in 1958 and together they owned Morrison Floral Company. Barbara loved "the flower shop "and many customers would see her taking orders well into her 80's. She also shared a love of antiques with her husband. During the 70's the family would dress in period clothing and take their 1913 Model T Ford on tour with the Antique Automobile Club of OKC. In addition to her love of family, she loved her church and read her Bible Lesson on a daily basis. She was an active member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Nichols Hills and later First Church of Christ, Scientist on Portland Ave.
