Services for Kenneth Venoy Benefield, 66, of Diana, Texas, will be at 10:00am, June 9, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Ore City, with Reverend Ken Mills officiating, interment will be at Sardis Cemetery in Center, Texas at 2:00pm on June 9. Mr. Benefield passed away June 5, 2008, in Longview.
He was born May 23, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Jeff & Lula Faye Benefield. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ore City. He served his country in the Army National Guard.
Survivors Include:
Wife: Jeannie Kay Benefield
Sons: Kevin Benefield of Ore City; Kerry Benefield and wife, Charlotte, of Longview.
Daughter: Anita Benefield of Reno, Nevada.
Stepsons: Casey Loyd Cobb and wife, Amanda, of Whitehouse, Chad Edward Cobb of Longview and Cody Lane Cobb of Diana.
Brother: Richard Benefield and wife, Brenda, of Tyler.
Sisters: Arvella Sue Blount and, husband, E.B., of Pittsburg; Linda Ryan and husband, Perry Lee, of Chapel Hill and Wanda Anderson of Mt. Pleasant.
Grandson: Buddy Loyd Rich of Fredricksburg, Virginia.
