Funeral services for Douglas A. Stephens will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 8, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. Masks will be required and Covid-19 protocols should be followed.
Doug died on March 1, 2021 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on August 27, 1963 to the late Curtis and Patricia (Eikenbary) Stephens. He married Billie Mullins in 1989 and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are their children; Chasity (Metzger) Leonard, Mandy (Metzger) Cummins, Bobbie Jo Metzger, Jennifer Stephens, Ashley (Stephens) Mullins, Tommy Metzger, 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a brother; Joseph Stephens, a sister; Victoria Cordrey and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son; Shawn Metzger and a brother; William Stephens.
Doug retired from Honda in 2019 after 34 1/2 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his 2 bulldogs.
