Edward J. Hill, Jr., 93 of Middletown, husband of the late Ann (Surowiecki) Hill, died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Middlesex Hospital.
Ed was born in Middletown, son of the late, Edward J.Hill, Sr., and Mary (O'Connell) Hill. Prior to his retirement Ed was employed as an Inspector with EIS Manufacturing. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army
Edward is survived by two daughters, Donna Hill of Simsbury, Janice Hill and her husband Nickolas Inferrera of Old Saybrook, a son, Edward J. Hill III of Middletown, two grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew, two step-grandchildren, Maya and Kathryn, a great-grandson James, two sisters, MaryJane McCarthy of Virginia, Margaret Kreitner of Cromwell also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Hill, sister Frances Hurley and a son-in-law Edmund Lum.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday March 3rd at 11 a.m. in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church.
Burial with military honors will be held at the State Veterans' Cemetery.
