He married 1st about 1765 in probablly in Culpeper County, Virginia Margaret Smith Born in Orange County, Virginia. Margaret died about 1767 perhaps on the Birth of Child Aaron.
He then married 2nd about 1868 In Culpeper County, Virgina, Elizabeth Blankenbaker the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Barbara Gaar Blankenbaker.
