Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Sabourin) Lacroix, she lived here all her life. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, New Bedford.
Lorraine was employed as an assembler at Alberox Co., until her retirement. She also worked for a number of years at New Bedford Rayon Co. and Guy’s Pharmacy in Fairhaven, where she made many friends. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
Lorraine is survived by her son, William T. Wilson, Jr. of New Bedford; a sister, Doris E. Proulx of Maryland; and 5 nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul E. Lacroix.
Her funeral Mass will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 9 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 343 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford, followed by burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
