Viola Cozart Davis was born to the late Ollie Cozart and Hattie Cozart Royster on July 11,1930 and transition to the heavens on February 23,2021 in Oxford, NC.

Viola was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Samuel Davis Jr. in Granville County. She joined Bible way / Only Way Church of Christ at an early age.

Viola retired from Murdoch Center after 27 years of employment and was also employed by Cato Corporation for 15 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons; Clemon Wilkerson Jr., John Henry Wilkerson, both of Henderson, Ronnie Davis (Lisa) and Michael Davis, both of Oxford, NC, two daughters; Carolyn Davis of Durham, NC and Wanda Davis-Wakefield of Charlotte, NC, eight grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. A special niece Ernestine Bullock who cared for her during her illness and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted 2: 00 P.M. Saturday March 6,2021 at Only Way Church Cemetery by Bishop Thomas Daniel.

Viewing Friday March 5, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. in Betts & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
