Golconda, Ill.
Wilma Sexton Gilliam, 71, of Golconda died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.
She was secretary for Pope County Elementary School for 19 years and for the Golconda Job Corps for five years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Golconda.
She is survived by several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gilliam; and one brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda. The Revs. Paul Sadler and Tim Sadler will officiate, and burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church, Golconda, IL 62938.
