Mary Jane Spencer age 93, loving wife and mother, went to be with Jesus on June 6, 2023, in Valley Center, Kansas. She was born in Topeka, Kansas to Harold Vaughn and Annabel (Gill) Myrtle. She enjoyed playing the piano and accordion, teaching her grandchildren to play the piano, crocheting and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold & Annabel Myrtle, husbands Mickie Spencer and Bud Zackula, sons Don Spencer and Gordon Spencer, son-in-law Paul Richter, brother Harold Myrtle, sisters Edith Dotson and Dorothy Zackula.
Mary met her husband Mickie at Valley Center High School. She worked at Boeing Company, Wichita, Kansas building B-47 bombers by bucking rivets. She also worked at McCormick-Armstrong printing in Wichita, Kansas as a bindery worker.
