Services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church at 10 A.M. followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Petal, MS.
Mr. Rogers was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a talented Christian singer and songwriter. He formed and led the group The Messengers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Rogers; his former wife Barbara Rogers; and his stepdaughter, Courtney Phillips.
He is survived by his two sons, Jeremy Rogers (Bridget) of Wisconsin and Joe Rogers (Samantha) of Wisconsin; his mother, Carolyn Rogers of Petal; two grandchildren Lawry and Joley Rogers; two stepsons, Granville Clark, III of Moselle and Jeremy Beau Phillips (Jackie) of Georgia; his sister, Suzanne Wigley (Kirk) of Petal; his adopted children, Ocean and Sky Roe; and his nephews and niece, Rushton Wigley, Zane Wigley, Cara Lane Wigley.
Visitation for the Rogers will be Monday, March 8, 2021 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, Petal, MS.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Gideons International.
