R LEE DELP

R. Lee Delp, loving husband of Ruth E. Delp, of Lansdale, PA went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2021. He was 74 years old.
Born September 16, 1946, in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Richard and Beatrice Delp.
Lee was a graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. He attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated from Eastern University with a degree in mathematics. He started his career in insurance at National Liberty Corporation, was the executive director of MEDA, CEO of MOPAC and ended his career running a consulting business. During the course of his career, he was on the board of 13 companies and chaired 9, including leadership roles at Grace Mennonite Church and the international level with the Mennonite Church. He always saw himself as a pastor who happened to be in the business world.
In addition to his wife, Lee is survived by his sons, Richard (Kristin) of Harleysville and Aaron of Souderton; his two granddaughters, Abigail and Allison Delp; and his sisters, Marie Pankoe of Lansdale and Sharon Delp of Frackville.
The family greatly appreciated Lee’s care from Caring Hospice and Shalom Home Care.
Funeral services and burial will be private in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Hatfield. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Indian Creek Foundation, 420 Cowpath Road, Souderton, PA 18964.
