Nancy was born August 19, 1935 to her late parents, Parker and Kate S. Nolen. A hard working woman, she retired from Eaton Cutler-Hamer, then from Belk Department store, before working for Dillard’s Department store for several years. She enjoyed embroidering, working in her flower garden and spending time with the grandkids. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, she watched every game and knew all the players, not only their names, but she could tell you all of their statistics. She also enjoyed watching Nascar and loved her Abby cat. Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Ruth Cox and her husband Ray, sister Martha Baylor and her husband Riley, and her brother, James E. Nolen and his wife.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years in June, Guy Jack Sprinkle; two daughters, Debra Sue Hyatt and her husband Ricky of Waynesville, and Shari Sprinkle of Candler; son, Guy Jack Sprinkle, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Candler; three grandchildren: Brian, Russell and Wesley; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Pat Phillips and her husband Gary of Tulsa, OK; brother, Bill Nolen and his wife Tammy of Pisgah Forest; friends and caretaker, Mike and Nancy Sluder; as well as several other extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held for the family on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Madison Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dusty Black officiating.
