She leaves behind her devoted husband William R. Hill Sr., a daughter, Donna, a son, William, a granddaughter, Beth-Ann, two great grandchildren (predeceased), a Sister, Anna Homa, and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was the daughter of Wassil and Pearl (Falatovich) Chelak and was born on April 1, 1933, in Park Place, Mahanoy Township, Pennsylvania.
She is predeceased by seven brothers (Frank, Stephen, Michael, Wassil, John, Joseph, and Gregory) and two sisters (Pearl and Mary).
She loved God and her Byzantine Catholic faith. She was a homemaker and caregiver, taking care of her husband, children, in-laws, Donald and Carrie Roshon and her granddaughter, Beth.
She was an avid cook and baker, making ethnic and Pennsylvania Dutch dishes and was known for her Kalachi cookies baked for the St. Ann's Byzantine Catholic Church summer picnic, where she was a devout member of the church. She was a member of the Blue Moon Cruisers and participated in club and other antique auto club events. She loved to travel with her husband to Las Vegas in her earlier years.
A liturgy will be celebrated at St. Ann's Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by a viewing at 10:00 a.m. on March 8, 2021, with Father Taras Lovska as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery in Lebanon County.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to her church, Homeland Hospice or the Blue Moon Cruisers Car Club.
