of North Ridgeville, Ohio , passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2021 in a Naples, Florida hospital following a brief illness. Born on July 24, 1950, he was a graduate of Lakewood High School and was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Viet Nam War. A longtime employee in sales, of both Coca-Cola and Frito-Lay Distributing Co., in Lorain County, he retired in 2012. Chris enjoyed volunteering and hiking in the Metro Parks, golfing with his "buddies", and loved his gardening. He was the official photographer for family and friends, and particularly excelled in his photos of nature. He is survived by his wife, Ellen (nee McAvoy), brother Richard, and sister-in-law, Sandra, of Woodstock, Georgia, and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Walsh of Lakewood, Ohio. Always known for his big smile and heart of gold, Chris will be greatly missed and remembered as a very caring husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
