Mary Delores Stokes was born May 21, 1942 to Jewel Theodore and Mary Ellen Kathryn Bryant in Dos Palos, California. She departed this life March 1, 2021 at the age of 78.

Dee spent her youth in California before moving to Depew. On December 18, 1959, Mary Delores Bryant and Larry Namon Stokes were united in marriage. They enjoyed over 46 years together before his passing June 26, 2006.

She had many things she enjoyed doing including, painting, crocheting, and gardening. She enjoyed visiting with her family especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her faith was everything to her. She was a devout Christian who was never bashful about sharing her faith.

She is survived by five children, Penny Davenport and husband Greg, Mark Stokes, Laura McMullen and husband Clifford, Amy Stokes, Mary Wade and husband Darin; three sisters, twin sister, Rosalee Doris Diaz, Gail Dolce, Rita Hunter. Eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, Melissa Fisher, two brothers, Gary and Teddy Bryant.

Her funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
