Raymond was born November 15, 1957 to Howard and Betty (Williams) Ickes in Grand Haven, MI and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting. Raymond was also a painter and craftsman who loved working with his hands. He was a strong man that never gave up and loved to cook.
Raymond is survived by his two daughters, five siblings and four grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Danny Ickes.
