Steven Craig Curtis, age 71, of Petersburg, WV went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

Craig was born on March 16, 1949 in Buckhannon, WV and was the son of the late Osborne Rex Curtis and Elsie Pauline (Davis) Curtis. In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Curtis Huffman.

Craig is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dena (Mick) Curtis whom he married on December 25, 1967. Also surviving two sons, Michael Chad (Jennifer) Curtis of Centerville, Ohio and David Matthew (Ashley) Curtis of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Jacob Curtis, Drew Curtis, Lill Curtis and Ransom Curtis.

Craig earned an Eagle Scout Award in 1963. Craig was a graduate of Webster Springs High School Class of 1967 where he played trumpet in the band and played basketball. He graduated from Fairmont State College in 1973 and received his MBA in Frostburg State College in 1992.

Craig and his wife Dena moved to Petersburg, WV in 1976 and he worked for Potomac Highlands Guild until 1995. Craig and his wife returned to Webster County where he was camp director for Camp Caesar until 2000. Craig and Dena moved back to Petersburg in 2000, when he was hired as Executive Director for Potomac Highlands Guild. Craig maintained that position until his retrirement on April 16, 2018. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church where he loved to sing with the choir.
