Mark Reyman Montgomery, age 65, of Lewis Center, Ohio died February 28, 2021 following a four-year battle with cancer. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on October 17, 1955, the son of Ruth and Charles Montgomery. On March 26, 2013, he married Cynthia Mobley in Delaware, Ohio. Together they shared eight years. Mark is survived by his wife, Cynthia; son, Nicholas Reyman Montgomery; mother, Ruth Montgomery; sister, Melody Moehring; step-daughters, Amie Kauff, Heidi Shepard, Christina Tedder; step-son, Keith Shepard; grandchildren, Colton, Asia, Mallory, Kira, Jasmine, Caitlyn, Kaiden, and Jace; nephew, Chad; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Montgomery; siblings, Jeffery, Debbie and Melissa. Mark worked for twenty-one years at Owens Corning in Newark, Ohio as a Master Mechanic. He lived the majority of his life in the Columbus, Ohio area and was a graduate of North High School. Mark enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking out, music and OSU Football. His proudest achievements were graduating from OSU, being a father, stepdad, and grandpa. Mark had a huge heart. He loved people and was always helping someone. He is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 3:00 PM- 5:00 PM with a service at 5:00 PM all at the chapel of Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society, 5464 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
