Christopher A. Eaton, Sr., 60, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late George W. Eaton, Sr. and Blanche Burgess Eaton and the loving husband to Kathleen Stowell Eaton.

Christopher graduated from Averill Park High School, Class of 1978.

Christopher previously worked for Benson Bros. and then worked at the Renssleaer County Highway Department as a supervisor, retiring in 2012.

He enjoyed watching his daughters play softball, his son play football, he was a NASCAR fan, he most of all loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandsons.

He was a 45 year member of the Poestenkill Fire Company.

In addition to his wife Kathleen, he is survived by his children, Megan (Brian) Rossell, Mandy (Will) Seeloff and Christopher Eaton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Willy Seeloff, Jackson Rossell and Maverick Rossell; his brothers, George Eaton, Jr., Raymond Eaton, Ernie (Mary) Ballard; his sister Ruth (Danny) Lewis and Vicki (Jeff) Mackey.

Christopher was predeceased by his mother, father and his mother-in-law Marie Stowell.

Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
