She was of the Baptist faith.
Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Dean; father, Lonnie Adams; mother, Emma Adams; nephew, Daniel Head; great-grandchild, Kolton Nichols; sisters, Sadie Smith, Mattie Bell Cochran, June Callaway, Lola Abercrombie, Betty Ray, Louise Adams; brother, Glenn Adams.
Survivors include her son, Kenny Lamar Dean of Dalton; daughter, Dana Ann Adams of Dalton; bother, Vernon Adams of Acworth; sister, Inez Pierce of Woodstock, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan and William Head of Dalton; grandchildren, Latosha Labove, Brandon Adams, Kayla Dean, Andrea Dean, Kristin Adams, Aimee Dean; great-grandchildren, Kazlei Young, Konner Young, Lil William McGraw; special friend, Terry Worley; Extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruby Dean will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Bearden and Rev. Petey Hight officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.
