She is preceded in death by two infant sons, Bishop Lloyd Ray and Roy Bishop Ray.
Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband of 65 yrs., Capt. Roy Ray of Bayou George, FL; two sons, Kenny Ray and Greg Ray of Bayou George, FL; honorary son, Randy Frederickson and wife Lisa of Lynn Haven, FL; one brother, Bobby Grice and wife Glenda of Chipley, FL; one sister, Pauline Carroll of Ponce De Leon, FL; six grandchildren, Travis Ray and wife Amanda, Alex Ray and wife Tina, Samantha Tindell and husband Jeff, Connor Ray and partner Chezelle Corral, Hannah and Matthew Frederickson; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at Southerland Event Center in Lynn Haven with Bro. David Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow in West Bay Cemetery. Mrs. Ray's son, grandsons and cousin will serve as pall bearers. The family will begin receiving friends at 9 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Surfs, 7101 Big Daddy Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32407 or to the charity of your choice in memory of Myrtle Ray.
