Ruby worked as a nurse for Hospice of Northern Colorado for 10 years and later became an EMT in Weld County. She also worked in the family business, Richardson Companies for 40 plus years. She was a founding member of the Greeley Stampede Riders and rode with them for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelly & Ruby Thompson, a brother, Virgil Thompson and a sister, Doris Elliot.
