Pendleton...Diane Dragoo Hunter, 86, resident of Pendleton and longtime resident of Middletown passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Rawlins House Nursing Center in Pendleton. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, January 14, 1935, the daughter of Dr. Farrol and Alta Busick Dragoo. She was a Middletown High School Graduate and a graduate of Stephens College.. She also attended the University of Illinois.
She had attended the Markleville North Christian Church and had been a homemaker most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dallas Hunter.
She is survived by her children, Brett (Jennifer) Hunter of South Bend, IN and Dee Layne (Jim) Mills of Pendleton, her grandchildren: Morgan Mills Hardesty (Daren), Mason Mills, Hunter Mills and Hayley and Hillary Hunter. Also three great grandchildren: Bridger, Elliot, and Wesley Hardesty.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Friday from noon until the time of the service.
