Coralyn Reese, of Sandy, Utah, returned to her Father in Heaven on October 4th, 2017. She was born June 2, 1947 in Providence, Utah. Coralyn was a beautiful Angel here on earth but could not beat the ravages of cancer that left her no ability to fight off the terrible West-Nile Virus. The virus left her in a coma for 2 weeks from which she could not recover.

Besides being a very beautiful person in her own right, there are no words to express the beauty that Coralyn possessed within her being. She had immense kindness, empathy and love for everyone in which she came in contact. That love was returned to her many times over by many, Coralyn decided in mid-life that she wanted to work in the medical field. She earned her Associate Degree as a Certified Medical Assistant and immediately began working in Urology, which she did for several years. She then decided she wanted to work where she could have more interface with her patients. That began her association with the Olympus Family Clinic in Holladay, UT. She first worked as the nurse for Dr. Gamble and then for Dr. Jon Wall. She loved her work and her patients. She knew them all by their first name and would greet them with her huge and loving smile. Her patients loved her back and was told by many of them that the reason they went to Olympus Clinic for their medical needs was because of her. Some refused to get their shots unless Coralyn was there to do the dastardly deed. Her workmates were her friends and she loved them in return. Two of her special friends at work, Stephanie Curtis and Pat Duffin were very close to her heart and she loved them very much.

Coralyn's real joy in life came when she married her beloved husband Joe Reese. They were married October 15th, 1994 and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple one year later. They enjoyed a friendship and bond in marriage with such love and desire for one another that separation in any form was agonizing for both. Coralyn loved the outdoors, hiking, camping in the Unitas, and exploring in every way. She was fearless and was willing to embark on any new adventure presented to her. Her soft heart included the love of many pets. Her cats and dogs where oh so special to her.

Coralyn along with her husband served a five and a half year mission on Temple Square as Guest Service missionaries. She thoroughly loved that calling and it was a high-light in her life. She also served various callings in Relief Society and Young Womans organizations.

Coralyn is survived by her best friend, husband and eternal companion, Joe Reese. Also by the family she loved so very much. She had a hard time separating her family from Joe's extended family. She mentally adopted them as her own and refused to refer to them as in any way other than “her” family. That included her own three sons: Darrin See, Jayme See and Randy See (Michelle), granddaughter, Shelby Coralyn See and grandson, Mason See; Joe's six children: Cory Reese(deceased), Tammy Reese, Debbie Stevens (Bob), Kristen (Candy) Piper (John), Dori Reese, and Carlan Reese (Kristen), twenty-two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and best friend Tammy Weese and step-brother Jerry Monroe (Pam).

Coralyn was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Arsace (Sid) Weese; her biological mother, Hermone Johnson; Her brothers, Kent and Randy Weese; ,her Grandparents, Cora and Edwin Johnson (lovingly raised her until she was 3 years old); her loving step-father, Wayne Monroe, and her stepson, Cory Reese (Linda Stosich).

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 17th at 12:00 noon, at the Old Mission Ward chapel, 1433 East Old Mission Rd., Sandy, Utah. Viewings will be held Monday night 6:30-8:30 and one hour prior to the funeral at the same location. Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.), Sandy, Utah.
