Born October 12, 1942, daughter of the late Raymond and Maple (Marshall) Grove.
Preceded in death by loving husband, John Maxwell Hampton, to whom she was wed on February 9, 1963; siblings, Robert, Donald, Bert, Viola, and Betty.
Survived by sister, Shelby; great-niece, Angela and partner, Doug; great-nephew, Todd and wife, Jodi; great-great nephews, Garrett, Deegan, and Zachary and wife, Taylor; great-great niece, Kiah; great-great-great niece, Sutton; and great-great-great nephew, Rowan. Helen was most proud of her "kids," great-niece Angela Booher and great-nephew Todd Booher.
She enjoyed family get-togethers and spending time with loved ones. She was an avid reader of novels. She will always be remembered for her love of family and making memories with them.
Friends and family will be received at Heath-Anderson Funeral Home for a visitation on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., service to follow, Lay Minister Joe Barrett, officiant.
