Patricia Ann Freeman (Nee Dunning) taken unexpectedly and suddenly at the age of 87, as she was just beginning the next chapter of her life on February 27, 2021.

She is now back in the loving arms of her parents, Lucille and Enoch Dunning, husband of 42 years, Jerry, son, Jim, daughter, Carol, and finally her grandson, Jeff. They have all waited decades to welcome her home.

She is survived by her devoted and adoring daughters, Luanne (Jerry) Wielichowski and Mary (Rick) Kuklinski. Additionally, she will be fondly missed by grandson, Jamie Freeman and granddaughter Lindsay (Geoff) Goff, along with great granddaughters, Laura, Payton and Paige.

Mom was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Margaret Mary Church for over 40 years before moving to Greenfield and joining St. Alphonsus Parish. She missed attending mass regularly because of pandemic restrictions. She was a retiree of the Milwaukee Public School Central Offices, where she was a lead operator in the data processing department.

Our Dad and Mom loved their frequent travel to Las Vegas, and she continued this tradition for 2 more decades after his passing. For many of those trips she did them solo, and in more recent times with her cousin, John. She loved the poker machines, buffets, and attended several shows each time. She often came home a winner. She loved animals, as we grew up with many. She enjoyed the affectionate response both Lucy and Stella demonstrated whenever she came to visit.

During the Pandemic we are asking family and friends to make choices about visitation that meet their comfort level of remaining safe. We are asking that anyone attending in person practices social distancing and wears a mask properly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Wisconsin Humane Society-Milwaukee Campus .
