Huestis – It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, of Doreen (Bowness) Huestis, of Summerside, on Thursday, January 28, 2021, aged 87years. Born in Montrose, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Frances (Crockett) Bowness.
Loving wife of the late Lowell Huestis. Survived by her daughters Holly (Tony) Martin and Lowleen (Jim) Read; son Ronald (Joyce); grandchildren Robyn (Adam Sellars), Brittany (Andrew Gabel) and Shaun Martin; Ben (Rachael), Hannah, and Elliott (Beth) Coles; great-grandchildren Austin, Jordan, Tyler, Summer-Lynn, Edward and Trent; brothers Byron (Shirley) Bowness and Dr. Allison (Joan) Bowness; sisters Evelyn (late Eston) Ramsay and Linda (Alan) Leard; sisters-in-law Revada Bowness, Blanche Bowness, Ruth (late Mitch) Bell and Helen (Stu) Mohler; brothers-in-law Bob (Marg) Huestis and Gordon (Ane) Huestis; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers George, Herbie and Keith Bowness; and by sisters Marie Devlin, Lois Pridham and Dorothy Travers.
Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment later in the Peoples Cemetery, Summerside
