Charles was born on January 19, 1932 in Sterns, MD to the late Elmer W. and Ida (Baker) Lytle. He was a die-hard Oriole's and Ravens fan and he also enjoyed gardening and going to casinos.
Charles is survived by three children, Janet Cook, Charles D. Lytle, Jr., and Larry Lytle; two step-children, Kay Taylor and Leroy Kling; four siblings, Phyllis Waterstreet, Darlene Taylor, Kenneth Lytle and Joe Lytle; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a daughter, Catherine E. Lytle.
