Mike attended school in WaKeeney and graduated with the class of 1963 from T.C.H.S. He attended Texas A&M for one year and graduated from Emporia State University. In his lifetime Mike worked for IBM, Montfort of Colorado, at the WaKeeney Livestock Commission Company and Hartford.
