Michael H. Baran, 73, of 85 Summit Ave., died at 9:46 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2003 in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown resident since 1956, he was born April 1, 1930, in Youngsville Pennsylvania, the son of the late Michael and Pauline Stawoiski Baran. He attended Youngsville schools. He was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956, serving aboard the USS GHERARDI during the Korean conflict, And Retired from the Naval Reserve in September 1986 after 30 years of duty to his country. He Later Joined the Fleet Reserve in 1996. 06-11-2003
