January 18, 1956 ~ February 8, 2021 (age 65)
Timothy Peterson, 65, of Wahpeton, ND passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway in Fargo, ND. A private visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood.
Tim was born on January 18, 1956 to Rosemary (Stavens) Peterson and Leroy Peterson in Mayville, ND.
Since the time Timmy was very young, he has lived in assisted living homes, first in Grafton and then settling in Wahpeton for the last 31 years, all the while making many friends and extended family members along the way. He enjoyed traveling with his friends, visiting family on holidays, special occasions, family picnics and let’s not forget Sandy’s Donuts. One of Tim’s favorite things to do was to go to work at the thrift store in Wahpeton, but when he retired in 2015 his new favorite past time was taking naps in his favorite recliner with his pillow and blanket. Tim was always happy to see family members and would always smile when he had his picture taken. Tim was a beautiful blessing to us all and every moment we spent with him was a gift.
Tim is survived by three brothers, five nephews, one niece , along with many great nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles and his special friends and caretakers at Red River Human Services House 109.
Tim was proceeded in death by his parents Rosemary Peterson & Leroy Peterson, siblings Diane, Michael, Barbara, Randy, Jeri & Baby Girl.
