A machinist by trade, Cecil worked at Western Forge for 43 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending many years riding horses and running cattle on Beaver Creek. He loved going elk hunting every year, fishing, and outdoor/wildlife photography. Cecil was a volunteer fireman with the Penrose Fire Department and retired after serving 23 years. He was a long-standing committee member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mid-Ark Chapter #219. Most of all he loved his role as adoring Papa to Maci and Harper. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
