Evelyn L. Allen, 80, of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Napoleon Lutheran Home. She was born July 26, 1940 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Harold & Frances (Barth) Kruse. On, August 28, 1960, she married Robert H. Allen in Napoleon, Ohio and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2000.
Evelyn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (Dan) Gobrogge, Lora (Jay) Latta, Bob (Robin) Allen, and Jeff Allen (Amy Arquette); grandchildren, Bill Rumbaugh, Heather Sczech, Andrew Allen, Brian Allen, Jessica Buchenberg, and Christine Pannell; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Henry; and siblings, Jim Kruse, Miriam Smith, and Herbert Kruse.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 3, 2021 at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, where visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow at Grelton Cemetery.
