Shirley Ann Hewins, age 72 passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb 24 2021 at Cranbury Center Genesis Nursing Home in Monroe , NJ. She had a massive stroke, and was taken peacefully to rest with her family and our Lord. Ms Hewins was born in Princeton, NJ and was a longtime resident of Hightstown, NJ. She was a graduate of Hightstown High School, Class of 1966. Shirley was predeceased by her son, Craig E. Shook Jr, her parents Emma and Ernest Hewins and her brother James Hewins all of Hightstown, NJ. She is survived by her sister Kathleen and husband George F DeFusco of Maine, her niece Katie and her husband Greg Swanson New Jersey, her nephew Ryan P Quill and wife Jennifer of New Jersey, and three beautiful nieces and three handsome nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Private cremation services will take place under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave, Hightstown, NJ. Memorial contributions in Ms Hewins name may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hightstown, NJ
