Age 92, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter (Mary Alice) and son-in-law (Michael Brenk) by her side, February 17, 2021 in Minnetrista, Minnesota. She was born January 17, 1929 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Joseph H. and Ruth A. (Walker) Blanton. She grew up at Chillicothe CC where her father was golf pro, developing her love of tradition, refinement and culture. She graduated from Circleville H.S. and went on to Indiana University and honed her lifelong love of learning and her insatiable curiosity. Friends and family in Upper Arlington, Ohio knew that she and Reed Hamilton Sherwood were meant to be together, and she married her best friend and soulmate May 15, 1960 She married her best friend and soulmate May 15, 1960. They spent 31 wonderful years together until his untimely and devastating death, October 17, 1991.
