Elk Grove, California - Dorothy V Lawrence passed on February 18, 2021 of natural causes
Born the youngest of 14 on Feb 2, 1925 in Sayreville, New Jersey to Henry and Marguerite Wolff. She is preceded in death by husband Fred Lawrence and grandson Phillip Deesing, and all her siblings. Dorothy is survived by her 3 daughters 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter Deborah (David ) Radley, children Jeremey, Ryan, Noah, Nicholette Perdue, children Jacob, Aaron, Andrew Deesing, Timothy and Dillion Vinning, Roxanne (Dan) Baker, children Alexandra and Christopher, also 5 great granddaughters 1 great grandson.
Dorothy graduated from nurses training in St Petersburg Florida and moved west to Woodland Ca where she met and married Fred. Professional lives brought them to Sacramento where they raised their family, years later she retired as a Registered Nurse. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, quilting, doing puzzles and playing cards, recently her joy was watching her granddaughter graduate from Colorado State University school of Veterinary Medicine as a DVM thanks to the virtual year of 2020.
She will be laid to rest next to her late husband in Sacramento Memorial Lawn, there are no planned services at this time. The family thanks Spiva Acres for the care and support in their wonderful country surroundings and Blossom Ridge Hospice. Donations may be made to donors choice or Autism Speaks.
