Richard Mack Ferguson of Hermleigh passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born August 3, 1948 in Akron, Ohio. Richard grew up in Mexia, Texas. After college he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served as a pilot for 20 years. After honorable discharge, he became a contract pilot for the U.S. Government retiring in 2011. On July 19, 1991 Richard married Gina in Key West, Florida. They made their home in Hermleigh in 1997.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 30 years, Gina; as well as his children and grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, G. W. and Felton Marie Ferguson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Petersburg Cemetery.
